Bermuda grass root turning brown

We have Bermuda grass sodded in last December. I normally mow around 1 1/2 inches. The root of the grass is seems to be brown and the grass is thin. I noticed that there is moss in the lawn also.

Please somebody can explain me what is wrong with my Bermuda grass.
