Armadillos & Sulphur

I seeded Bermuda (Princess 77) about 6 weeks ago. Most of the lawn is now growing well for its age
I have two major “spotting” issues
1. I believe sulphur from the well irrigation system is causing dead patches just around the sprinkler heads. Brown circles, and virtually no growth, appear at each sprinkler head.
2. We seem to have a few Armadillos that like to visit at night. They dig 3″ to 6″ holes all over the place.
Anyone got any advice on a nutrient that can be added to counter-act the sulphur?
Anyone know of a way to keep the Armadillos at bay, short of a shot-gun?
