Is 2,4-D safe on bermuda & centipede? How about this early in the year with the grass coming out of dormancy?

Ted is right, but I will add one bit of info – Centipede can be sensitive to some herbicides. 2-4-D isn’t typically a problem, but I would put it out at a little less that the label recommends. I would REALLY be careful with the herbicides for thin-leaf weeds. Centipede can sometimes be stunted after application. Spot-killing with Roundup is also dangerous, because it will kill a good bit of the surrounding grass.
Hope this helps,
H
