I’m buying a house I’ve been renting for a year and Crabgrass has taken over a portion of the yard :eek!. I’ve hand/tool/chemical pulled some, but I have had to be careful because broad-leaf killers say “DON’T USE ON ST AUGUSTINE!” Any suggestions to rid and control the probel? NOTE: I have a Lab and anything other than the St Augustine is tromped by his 90 lbs. Any help or suggestions woulfd be greatly appreciated because I want the supreme yard on the block ….. Thanks.

Image works on crabgrass, and is good for St Augustine. However, it should be applied only in early or late summer because it can damage the lawn in high heat. Depends on where you live.

I was also told to apply it an dusk and lay off the irrigation for a day. DOn’t expect rapid results, it can take 2-6 weeks to work.

I appreciate your help. Where can I purchase Image? I live in Fort Worth, Texas so heat is a issue until late September. Sounds like that would be a good time to do it.

Again I appreciate it. I found Image Herbacide online and have purchased some to try out in late September.
