My St Augustine yard in central FL has never been thicker or greener since I started using Turf Pro this year. It is a new soil conditioner developed by the EPA containing beneficial microbes that multiply in your soil and help your grass, flowers, and trees. All the top golf courses in the country are using it already. You buy it only at the best nurseries; a bottle costing $10 will treat about 1 acre of grass. If you want the best grass or flowers in your city, you will have to use Turf Pro. So far, only one lawn spray service offers it in my area.

Let’s look at the math. 1 Acre = 43,560 square feet. The TurfPro instructions say “…apply at a concentrated rate of 6 ounces per 1000 sq ft.” … that’s about 260 ounces for an acre… which is two gallons.

I’m unaware of the size of your ‘bottle’, but TurfPro in the Orlando area goes for $27 to $28 a gallon depending whether its the original formula or iron formula.

My experience with it on St Augustine grass is – no notable difference after six weeks – and I applied it at the heavier recommended rate.
