This may sound like a stupid question to those of you who know a lot about lawn care and grass, but please bear with me. I was wondering where the seed of grass grows at? Is it subterrainial or does it grow somewhere else? Also i wanted to know where the bags of grass seed come from and how you harvest grass seed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

if you allow your grass to grow tall you will be able to see the seeds growing at the top. but since mowing the grass is the norm, one ususally does not see this in a home lawn.
