Zoysia or St Aug in NW GA?

Installing a new lawn in the Kennesaw area. Should I go with Zoysia or St Aug? We have a few areas that are in light shade, but the rest is sunny. I’m concerned with the cold affecting St Aug. If we go with Zoysia, what variant? Zenith, Zeon, ….?
I know this is the Zoysia topic but if St Aug os OK, would you recommend Mercedes or Raleigh?
Thanks!

I hate the way St. Augustine looks. Looks like a weed to me. But it is more shade tolerant than Zoysia.

I live in Paulding County and am going to be installing Zeon Zoysia this spring. I’ve got bermuda in the front and wanted to go with TifGrand in the back due to shade concerns. I decided to go with Zeon due to the price, lower maintenance, and the fact that I’m not sure how much of the TifGrand claims are marketing. I only want to do this once after 8 years of constant overseeding of fescue with limited success. My advice would be the Zeon.
