Zoysia on Southern Maine Coast Dormant in winter?

I have a well establish front lawn of Zoysia on the southern Maine coast (in place over 30 years). There is going to be major construction on the house and the lawn is likely to be destroyed. Does anyone know if the Zoysia will survive over winter if I dig it up after it has turned brown, move it into the woods over winter, and then put it back into its regular place next spring? Any suggestion who could answer this?
