Finally getting around to my backyard renovation. Resodding with zoysia, adding a paver patio, shrubbery, edging and irrigation. I’ll post up once i get the sod put down. I realize after i cut up the old sod how involved this project is really going to be…

How long ago did you do your front lawn and how is it looking these days? Will you amend your soil in any way before sodding?
If I were to do it again I think I’d mix in a little bit of clay and some good top soil.

i did it back in april of 2011…up until recently it was looking ROUGH, but i finally got it coming back to the summer time green it was before. still have some spots that need to come back but its getting there. i bumped the mower down two settings this week to get it down a bit which is why it looks somewhat dried out in the pics.
i didnt add anything to the soil this time around and the new sod is looking great.

just waiting on my pavers to come in for the back porch and i’m proud to say ill finally be done with my yard projects! woot!
