Zoysia grass and slugs and ants

Our front lawn is half zoysia grass and half regular grass.

The half that is not Zoysia grass is infested with slugs and ants.

We want to rid ourselves of the pest WITHOUT destroying the Zoysia grass.

Any ideas how ?
