zoysia fertilization

I bought a house with a “semi” zoysia lawn in MAryland and am working on filling it out. Can I use a Scotts “TurfBuilder” +2 with weedkiller on my Zoysia lawn?. The bag makes no mention of Zoysia on it…

NO!!!

Zoysiagrass does NOT need that much fertilization. Slow release, low in nitrogen will do just fine.

Cary, NC I live at McGees Crossroad near Benson. Do you have zoysia grass if so, what type. I am thinking about buying some plugs. What do you suggest.
