Zorro Zoysia Sun Requirements?

Does anybody know how many hours of sunlight Zorro Zoysia requires? King Ranch Turfgrass just told me it can do find on 3.5-4 hours of light. Is that true?

a quick search shows 4-6 so when he said 3.5-4 he was giving you the very low end of the scale.
I through in some ultimate flora zoysia under a tree which is supposed to be really shade tolerant. Turns out my empire zoysia is spreading towards the shade and actually looking better than the UFZ.

Where might I ask did you obtain your ultimate flora? I am debating between that one, and el toro, which I can get closer to Pensacola, and empire. I can also get zorro, but it’ll cost me more in shipping. So exactly why do you think the ultimate flora is doing better or worse?I have mostly sun everywhere except front yard has 2 large water oaks, with about 4 hours sun. But what I really want is SOFT SOFT grass barefoot. Any thought? Thanks!
