Zorro Zoysia or Bermuda

I have Bermuda in my front lawn. I am going to sod the backyard soon. Due to a large number of trees in the backyard, a couple of landscapers have recommended going with Zorro Zoysia instead of Bermuda.
Does anyone have an opinion on this? Do they look similar?

Where are you and how much shade? What kind of trees are making the shade?

Central Texas
All oak trees in the backyard

I dont know how the zorro is but my empire zoysia does not do well under my oaks. It’s a mess actually. Even my ultimate flora zoysia which is supposed to be the most shade tolerant doesn’t do good under my oaks.

I agree with the above, however Bermudagrass won’t grow at all in shade. If you can selectively thin the tree canopy or raise it El Toro Zoysia may work. I’ve had good luck with it in as little as 3 hrs. of sun per day. Otherwise abandon plans for grass under trees and make groundcover beds.
