yellow leaves

my magnolia tree this year starting looking yellow and now the top leaves are falling off also I gave it some liquid iron but seems not to help any any ideas???

i’ll confess i know little about trees,but i’ll guess you leave in the southeast were we’ve been going through somewhat of a drought. water the magnolia at least twice a week(slow so it will seep in to the roots and not have toomuch run off.

Sorry to hear about the yellow leaves. The springtime is when new growth and flowerind starts.
Magnolias are famous for dropping leaves and as long as you see new groth and flowering you should be ok.
The tree litter can be a problem sometimes. Magnolia roots are just below the surface so mulch 2 feet from the trunk and slow water once a week during the dry spells.
Have you heard the old saying ” out with the old and in with the new” ? Thats what you got.

I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
