Yard Help and Questions

Hi everyone the board has been a big help!QuestionsI live in Nebraska, and I bought a house that had never had any yard work done ever!So this spring I dethatched the whole yard, really cleaned it up and reseeded with RTF fescue. Did that about 4 weeks ago. I also put put down Scots starter fertilizer. Its looking better than it ever has, but still have some dead and bare spots where it didnt take, and still battling some bad weeds in the backyard.There is my history!Im looking for guidance from here…How long before I fertilize again?Reseed and put top soil in the bare spots?Safe to put on yard for weeds and not kill progress?Or any suggestions?

By the way Im 31 and this is completely new to me and I’m hooked on bein in my yard.Thanks in advance
