I am considering sodding my yard with Zoysia or Centipede however I am concerned that the wild bermuda currently growing in my yard will be a problem. Any suggestions?

hmkash, yes, the existing bermudagrass will come back. Spraying the bermuda with 2-3 applications of glyphosate herbicide (marketed as Roundup and other names) should remove of the vast majority of the bermuda, but even so you will probably not get rid of all of it. Make sure that the glyphosate has time to work, 1 week and preferably 2 weeks,to die down to the roots, before doing any tillage or disturbance of the soil.

If you have a problem with bermuda after centipede is established..try a 4% solution of post-plus……..this will get bermuda and not hurt centipede.
