What’s the Best Herbicide for Nutsedge

I live in Jax, FL and have problem with Nutsedge (yellow) in my St. Augustine lawn. Not the entire lawn, but mainly in isolated areas that get a lot of shade. I’ve used Image before with varying results. I have heard about Manage but can’t find it in my local Home Depot or Lowes.

I believe you can get Manage at your local Lesco. Alternatively, go to nutsedge.com for a good discussion of nutsedge as well as ordering information.

manage is for yellow nutsedge (in the mid south) image is for purple nutsedge (deep south)

Manage will control both purple and yellow nutsedge as well as green kyllinga.

MANAGE IS LABELED FOR YELLOW ,PURPLE NUTSEDGE AND KYLLINGA. YOU MAY FEAR THE PRICE OF THE PURCHASE. YOU WOULD BE BETTER TO USE A NON-IONIC SURFACTANT OR SURFACTANT-PENETRANT WITH MANAGE AT TIME OF APPLICATION. GOOD LUCK………..
