i have bought a bottle of hi yield atrazine (40.0%)somewere in past for lawn, when started reading the bottle it says for dormant bermuda grass, is this something I want to put on my lawn now.

You can use Atrazine on your zoysia anytime of year (if not too hot). Atrazine kills/browns/stunts bermuda thus the recommendation to use it when bermuda is dormant.

Just make sure you follow the label. Use a measuring cup don’t eyeball it or guess. Try to spot spray if you can vice spray entire yard.
