Dear Freinds,I Just put 3,300 sq feet of new fescue sod. I was told that I need to water it a lot for the next 6 weeks. I’m currently watering 825 sq feet at a time starting at 5:30am and at 5:00pm. can someone tell me if those times and lenght of time is appropriate. Any feed back will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The trick is to keep the new sod moist. You can check it by lifting a corner and checking your soil. You will have to adjust the time depending on weather conditions as well. Also, wait about 30 days then use a fall fertilizer. good luck!
