unidentified seed pod in my st.augustine

I have noticed as of late that my St.Augustine lawn has what looks like shoots coming out of it. They resemble seed pods. Does anyone know what this is or whether I should try and eraticate them?

They are seed pods. The seed is not viable so just mow them off when you mow.

I have the same thing, are they St.Augustine seed pods? All this time I thought they were some type of weed seeds, no need to pick them out then, huh?
