Thousands of Caterpillars

I live in the Jacksonville, Fl area. Around the beginning of July, I began to see a lot of moths flying around my lawn surface. I visited Lesco, and they suggested a Talstar fertilizer blend product. I put it down on July 9. My front and back yard is separated by a fence. My front yard is in pretty good shape. Last year my backyard received a lot of damage (from chinch??). After that application, I continued to see the moths and made another trip to Lesco. Then they suggested Dylox 6.2. This was just applied to my front yard about 2 weeks later. Last week while pulling some vine type of weed and found caterpillars. So last week I applied Bayer Pesticide granular to my front yard. This weekend after cutting my lawn, I was clearing out some patches of crab grass that was very thick to replace with pieces of sod. Again, I found caterpillars around the soils surface. Last night, I sprayed my lawn, front and back with Ortho Maxx. This morning I went out to inspect, and found a few large caterpillars moving around. But the little ones were inching along like business as usual. Does anyone have any suggestions? Have I done all I can do?
