My St Augustine, (I have no idea what variety it is) is seeding. Is that healthy am I doing something wrong? The parts of the yard that seed are never as lush or dark as the other parts.

You’re not cutting it enough. St Aug that goes to seed has been left untouched for too long. Cut every 4 days during the growing seasons and you’ll see the grass start to get thicker and greener.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
