st. augustine seed stalks

I live in Ft. Worth, TX and have a mix of bermuda and st. augustine in my yard. The st. augustine has started to produce small stalks the same heighth as the rest of the grass that has seed and blossoms. Are these stalks and/or seeds of any use?

No use at all. If they are not sterile, then nobody has found a way to make them sprout.
