St Augustine Prep for winter

Live in Jacksonville, FL – NE Florida area. Have St. Augustine lawn. Applied Scott’s Bonus S in mid Sep. According to Scott’s annual plan – we should now be applying winterizer fertilizer. Is this good advice?

Hey,
I also live in JAGSonville, of the topic do you play ESPN FFL?
Well I put down winterizer a month ago, if you are going to do it, do it now! The nights still are in the mid 50’s or higher.
The grass will go dormant soon and at the moment mine is not growing as fast but still growing and green.
It doesn’t feel like November to me here yet. I can’t believe Thanksgiving is a few weeks away. I guess because it was still 87 a few days back and now is 70 to 75. I guess that is the global warming ABC news was talking about last night….
Good luck
