st augustine invading sod

We planted sod 2 years ago which is 90 percent zoysia 1nd 10 percent kentucky blue grass. Prior to installing the sod we killed the St.Augustine with round up and spent the better part of the month roto-tilling the area and sprayed any new growth of St.Augustine. Today after my lwan man left I walked out to look at the lawn and I have a few areas where the St.Augustine is taking small areas . How do I eradicate the St.Augustine without killing my existing Sod. Do I need to physically remove the St.Augustine. Spent to much money to let the St.Augustine take over. Any help will be appreciated. I live in Southern Calif. and we are very hot in the summers. Thank You

Spray crabgrass killer……its very effective against St. Augustine, and won’t hurt your other grasses. Make a second application 10 days after the first spray.
