St. Augustine

What a wonderful forum!!I have followed with interest the ongoing questions about the war between St. Augustine and Bremuda. It appears that last year’s lack of rain caused the St. Augustine to allow the Bremuda to get more than a foothold. If I understand what I read, will keeping the SA cut to 4 inches and regular watering, the SA can and will over take the Bremuda, even when the Bremuda is in full sun for 3/4’s of the day? Then what about bagging the clipings as over against mulching, which I have been doing for the past two years. I was bagging, then got a new mower with mulching blades, etc. Many thanks for everyone’s ideas. CER
