Can you plant St. Augustine grass in Atlanta, Georgia? we burnt our grass by putting the wrong chemicals on it. We would like to start over.

Not having lived in Atlanta, I cannot answer your questin with 100% assertion. However, I am familiar with Atlanta enough to say that it does get warm enough in the summer to grow St. Augustine well, but I am concerned that maybe Atlanta gets cold enough in the winter to kill the St. Augustine.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
