Can Mercedes St. Augustine be plugged?
When should grass be plugged?
How do you get rid of weeds in Zenith Zoysia?

All St. Augustine grass can be plugged. This is commonly called “sprigging”.
However, I am not familar with the “Mercedes” cultivar of St. Augustine. The ones I am familar with are:
Common Cultivars: Common/Roselawn, Bitterblue, Floratine, Floratam, Floralawn, FX-10, RaleighDwarf Cultivars: Delmar, Jade, Palmetto, Seville
Does anyone else know of a Mercedes?
I plug year round since St. Augustine is an evergreen.
Dont know much about Zoysia, so one of the Zoysia folks will have to respond to that part of the post.
Good luck!
