I have alot of stalks growing from my St. Agustine grass does this mean it’s healthy or do I have another problem. Also on the stalks there are little seedlings at the top. It’s kinda funny it grows higher and much faster then the regular leaves. any help would be appreciated. thanks

St. Austine will go to seed at certain times of the year. These seeds are sterile and nonviable. Cutting them off on a regular shedule and fertilizing the lawn can help reduce, but will never eliminate the problem as it is a natural plant mechanism.
