Here’s my schedule
Valentine’s Day – corn meal and/or alfalfa pellets at 10-20 pounds per 1,000 square feet.
Memorial Day – repeat
4th of July – repeat
Labor Day – repeat
General maintenance for St Aug is this:1. Water deeply and infrequently. During the cooler months, water monthly. During the hottest part of summer, water weekly. When I water I water for over an hour in each zone.
2. Mow it at the highest setting on your mower and never change that.
3. Follow my fertilizing plan. For Dallas you can move the Valentine’s Day application to St Patrick’s Day.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
I am from the north and it has taken me five yrs to learn and undertand seville lawns. No 1…
