I just moved yo Fl. I’ve always had St. aug. in Tx. my bahia is very sparce is there any way to get it to grow in thicker more full

Unfortunately a sparce or open grwoth patern is typical of Bahiagrass. You might try overseeding (with Bahia) and topdressing to see if you can get a few more plants to fill in.
