We’ve had a very wet summer here in North Carolina, and it seems that something is creeping in to the sides of my yard and killing grass in patches roughly 4″ in diameter. It only seems to be in the fescue. The spots are only along the drainage areas on the sides of my sloped property. Whenever I mow these areas, many moths fly up. My neighbor is convinced these are sod webworms, and even though I haven’t seen the boogers in the thatch or any webs, I sprayed tonight with triazcide. I’ll see what happens…
