san augistine – brown/yellow areas

We are getting a lot of rain, humidity, get morning sun and afternoon sun, good drainage. Spots appear. had problem last year and again this year. yellow, no growth, some brown. Have sprayed for cinch bugs and treated with fungiside this year three times. Had problem last year and again appearing this year. In Texas Houston area. Lot of rain recently. Grass three years old. Only thing I haven’t tried is iron or acid adjustments. Any suggestions on what and how to correct? Will millorginite help?

Wow… Fungicide used 3 times for the year.. that will really screw up the soil as it wipes out good fungus as well. All the plants will suffer from that… The only way to fix that is applying good quality of compost at the rate of 1 cubic yard per 1000 sqft…
That’s why I practice organic care… They keep bad fungus under control cheaply…

I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
