Renovating a fescue lawn quesion

I live just outside of Charlotte NC, and have pretty good soil for the moast part. The yard is about 2 acres and has no trees. This summer besides the armyworms, wild bermuda grass has taken a toll on my fescue lawn. I want to get rid of the bermuda grass if at all possible, but I’m afraid it is to late this year due to nature of bermuda grass. I have bought some Turflon Ester, but I’m afraid it will not be effective this late in the year with the bermuda slowing down. I would like to avoid renovating the entire yard if possible, due to it’s size and the fact that I have some good fescue scattered about the yard. Can anyone reccomed anything that I can try this fall and winter that will help me in the fight against the bermuda grass, or will I need to wait until next spring and try the Roundup approach with the bermuda for the best results? Will overseeding help slow down the Bermuda next spring? Any advice on what I can do this fall and winter to get ready for the battle next year would be appreciated.
