After controlling summer weeds in my tif 419 lawn with msma, I would like to establish a good pre M maintenance schedule for fall and spring. What would be the recommended season to apply in Savannah, Georgia? Also is Benefin available in a granular form and under what name?

In spring when daytime temperatures are consistently in the 65 to 70 degree range for 4 or 5 days

United Horticultural Supply offers a granular pre-emergent made with Benefin: as Balan 2.5G Literature implies it may not be readily available to the homeowner. Here are a couple of sources within Georgia:
