Poa Anna

I have a big problem with Poa Anna. I have looked at several weed and grassey weed killers and none mention Poa Anna. I know that it will die off in the summer but is there anything that can be done now.

Hey Charlie,
Depending on the type of grass you have, there are a couple of other herbicides you could try. If you have St. Augustine or Centipede, you could try Atrazine. It has poa on the label and my experience shows it works pretty well. If you happen to have bermuda as your grass, MSMA is a product that works really well. Poa isn’t on the label, but, once again, I have found that it takes it out. NOTE: do not use MSMA in anything but bermuda AND do not use atrazine on bermuda.
Good luck
