Part Shady yard with Bermuda

We have a bermuda yard which is doing well in Suburban Atlanta. As the subdivision is aging, some neighbors trees are shading the yard and the bermuda is thinning do to the shade. What do you all recommend as a replacement for the bermuda that would not look out of place (like fescue does in a bermuda yard).

usually, corrective pruning is not only good for the trees – it can help the lawn too.

Unfortunately, grass doesn’t live in the forest. You might consider extending large mulch rings around the trees.
