Is mite damage on Palmetto St Augustine seen very often? I have typical symptoms of distorted stolons but have been told this is not mite damage but a fertility issue. Comments welcome.

Not much of a comment but I’ve never heard of mites on St Augustine.

Banks grass mites attack cool-season and warm-season turf. On St. Augustine- grass, they cause patches of yellow on the blades.
Just about any insecticide that is safe on grass will kill mites. There may be some organic products that you could use but if it is a serious problem, go straight to something like diazanon or whatever is replacing it. Jacob
