overseed bermuda with hybrid

I have common bermuda in my front yard and was wondering if I could overseed with a hybrid. The common just doesn’t look as good as my neighbors hybrid. I’m mowing at about 2-2.5″ at least twice a week.

Where do you live? There is a very short list of seeded bermudagrass that is winter tollerant.

Ah yes the synthetic hybrid. Keep in mind its a high input variety that requires mowing 3-5 times per week, and 2-1/2 to 3 pounds of nitrogen per month and enough irrigation to prevent drought stress. The sahara and yuma are a good mix for genetic diversity if you dont wont the high input variety. although the princess 77 looks to be a good looking variety if maintained.
