Bermuda Riviera grass seed

2 Years ago I had about 5000 sq feet of Bermuda Tifway grass put in my yard. I have recently cleared another 2000 sq ft and intend to plant more grass. I was thinking of planting Bermuda Riviera seed instead of putting sod down for the extra yard. If I do this will there be a noticeable difference in the two different lawns. Will I be able to see where the two come together? If I over seeded the existing tifway lawn will it blend more easily? Should I just stink with sod?

There will be only slight differences, but not so much as most people would even notice. Density and color would be very close to the same.
