newly sodded yard

I live in Arkansas and finished laying Bermuda in my yard at the end of February. I have a couple of large areas in my backyard that were not leveled too well and have had lots of rain lately. How and with what do I do about filling in these areas?

For filling in small holes or indentions, I’ve found it best to use plain sand. The sand will allow the continued growth of your turf grass while it levels out the area. If you use dirt you may suffocate the good grass and there’s always the chance you’ll bring in weeds.
