Newer Sod Patches … when to mow?
NewLawnLove – posted 31 August 2012 09:31
I moved into a new construction home and they fully sodded the entire lot about 3 weeks ago. They had to fix some sections of the lawn due to settlement. Now, the “new” patches are obviously not rooted, while the older sod is nice and rooted and almost ready to mow. I know i cant mow sod that isn’t rooted yet, but also am not supposed to let the “older” sod grow to high before mowing. What should i do? … just try and mow the spots that are rooted?
Thanks very much!
