New Sod—-scalped by mower

Hi- Looking for advice—New sod installed 2 weeks ago, I ran the mower over the new sod and didn’t realize an uneven area (slope) and inadvertently scalped an area of about 1 foot by 2 feet. Roots in place, but just cut very low and looks brown in the area scalped. Is there anything I can do to try to increase the chance that the sod will continue to grow and recover, rather than having to be replaced in that section?
