New Grass Field Day Rescheduled for Dec 6

We are pleased to announce that the New Grasses Field Day has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 6, 2005. The originally scheduled event was postponed due to the approach of Hurricane Wilma.
Topics Covered: Learn about the latest innovations in sports turf, golf turf and lawn turf. Best uses, maintenance characteristics, shade tolerances and insect tolerances of new Zoysias, Centipedes, St. Augustines and Seashore Paspalums.
Who will be speaking: Five University of Florida Professors including Dr. Brian Scully, Dr. Laurie Trenholm, Dr. Gregg Nuessly, Dr. Russell Nagata, Dr. Kevin Kenworthy. Plus, Chuck Pula from the City of Winter Springs on using paspalum on sports fields and Ralph White on DeltaShade St. Augustine.
Earn CEUs from: GCSAA, Florida ASLA and Florida Dept. of Ag’s Pesticide Applicator Certification Program.
