Thanks in advance. Both are not affected by common weed killer.

just use a professional strength 24d mix- it’s no problem- you’re probably buying watered down hardware store mixes- try a farm supply store, etc.. a professional lawn spray company could get them easy.

I have had great success with the following mixture: 20% vinegar (not the 5% kind you get at the grocery store). Per one gallon, add 1 ounce of orange oil and a teaspoon of soap. Mix well and shake often. Be careful not to get the vinegar on your skin, it can burn. (In my opinion the risk of the temporary burning effects on the skin far outweigh the damage done by synthetic herbicides). Spray this during the hottest part of the day.

So, what are these weeds? I’ve been applying two products (one at a time every couple weeks) with a spray bottle, both with 2,4-D. I’ve been applying more than the suggested 2 to 4 ounces per gallon. I’ve been using about 1 to 2 ounces in a 25 ounce spray bottle. Do I need to try something else?

Ortho Weed-B-Gon:Mecoprop, dimethylamine salt 10.6%2,4-D, dimethylamine salt 3.5%Dicamba, dimethylamine salt 1.3%

Would your mixture burn the grass too? I have problems with bermuda in St.Augustine, and would like to go the organic route if possible. Where can you find the 20% vinegar?
