Lawn burned out

Just bought first house in New England. Has beautiful lawn. This year the town had a mandatory water ban and I wanted to follow the rules being the new guy in town. So needless to say the lawn is all burned out with the summer we are having. Will my lawn ever come back? I sthere anything I need to do. I still am unable to water it due to the ban. I have a sprinkler system, but that’s no help now. I just want my beautiful lawn back next year. What do I need to do?

I really don’t know. Nothing unusual, the typical grass for the region. I don’t know to much about grass, sincer this is my first home, I am just learning.
