In search of the perfect Floratam lawn!!!

I have my lawn in the front of my house was originally bahia. I bought a couple pallets of floratam and was only able to cover 3 quarters of the lawn. It established beautifully in the south florida sun with much TLC as well. Then a landscaper gave me a bunch of left over sod from a job he did. Originally he told me it was floratam but after it settled, the color was different from the blue-ish silvery color of Floratam that I love. Now i have a lawn that has to different shades of color. My question is will the Floratam take over the palmetto? The landscaper said not to worry but now I dont trust him and my neighbors and I are in a friendly war of “who has the perfect lawn”. Should I resod with Floratam? Any help would be appreciated.rich
