How do I kill St Augustine, crab grass and clover in my fescue lawn?

I have a 5.5 year old mixed fescue lawn which I love. I have had St Augustine creeping in and ruining it. I also have crabgrass and a yellow flowered clover growing in the lawn. Weed killing fertilizers don’t work. Will I have to resod these areas?

To kill clover use Confront brand herbicide. To control crabgrass(annual), use a pre-emergent and pluck out all established crabgrass. Gallery, Balan and Barricade are good pre-emergents. I am a cool-season grass guy so I can’t answer about St. Augustine grass very well. If St. Augustine grass is an annual then the crabgrass technique will stop that grass as well.

PS Will the preemergent products you recommended, kill any fescue grass?
