Help with identifying sod type

I don’t know too much about sod types and wanted to find out what kind I have. The builder of my home was not too helpful on this matter… It spreads by runners, often invading the flower beds. I am guessing this means it is a type of centipede rather than bermuda. Does it sound like I am on the right track? (I know we have bermuda here at work and I have never seen runners but it may be because our landscapers keep it edged very well.)
