Curious as to how high I should cut the lawn in november for the final cut of the season and also how high to cut it in march for the 1st cut of the season. Do I go lowest setting in both? Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

There is no need to change your height of cut when dealing with St. Augustine. The only time this is an issue is during drought conditions when the cutting height should be raised a little. You will see people scalp there lawns when alot when dealing with bermudagrass so that when it comes out of dormancy it will grow in more uniformly. However, St. Augustine does not require scalping. Just keep it at around 3″ all year and you should be fine
